I'm an Iranian painter who moved to the United States in 2011. I Studied at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. Since I have moved to the States there has been times where I felt lost. Geographically and emotionally. I felt as if I was in limbo. So I decided to create my own environment. A space that doesn't physically exist but never the less you can imagine yourself in them. I use abstraction to create fictional environments filled with information from the real world. Information and data that are incomprehensible as they are. Interactions and the outcomes of interactions are just one example of the daily inputs. Being incomprehensible as they are I try to conceptualize them and incorporate them in my fictional spaces.
